[CONTROL RING SETTING]To choose the role assigned to the control ring:
Press the function button to display control ring options.
Highlight the desired option and press [MENU/OK]. Choose from [DEFAULT], [ISO], [WHITE BALANCE], [FILM SIMULATION], and [DIGITAL TELE-CONV.].
Control ring options can also be accessed from the shooting menu.
When [DEFAULT] is selected, the function assigned to the control ring changes with the shooting mode.

When the focus-mode selector is rotated to [M], the control ring can be used only for manual focus, regardless of the option selected above. Note, however, that the selected option does apply if manual
