CONTROL RING SETTING

To choose the role assigned to the control ring:

  1. Press the function button to display control ring options.

  2. Highlight the desired option and press MENU/OK. Choose from DEFAULT, ISO, WHITE BALANCE, FILM SIMULATION, and DIGITAL TELE-CONV..

Control ring options can also be accessed from the shooting menu.

DEFAULT

When DEFAULT is selected, the function assigned to the control ring changes with the shooting mode.

When the focus-mode selector is rotated to M, the control ring can be used only for manual focus, regardless of the option selected above. Note, however, that the selected option does apply if manual focus is selected when , , or is chosen in AUTO mode.
