Use the camera geotagging option to download location data from a smartphone or tablet device.
For more information on using the camera, see the camera manual. If the smartphone has GPS, enable this feature before proceeding. Before connecting from an iPhone or iPad, select On for Settings > Wi-Fi Networks > Wi‑Fi.
Select 
GEOTAGGING SET-UP in the setup menu.

Select GEOTAGGING SET-UP in the shooting or playback menu.
Launch the FUJIFILM Camera Application app.
Tap Geotagging.
Place the camera and smartphone as close together as possible and operate both devices simultaneously.
Select GEOTAGGING SET-UP > 
LOCATION INFO SEARCH.
Tap 
Connect.
After checking the name of the device to which the camera is connected, press 
.
If the correct device is not displayed, press 
and try connecting again.
Tap Start.
iPhones and iPads begin transfer automatically when a connection is established.
If more than three hours have passed since location data were last updated, the data will no longer be embedded in new pictures. Reacquire location data from the smartphone. Location data older than two hours will not be transmitted to the camera.
