The Digital Teleconverter

Use the digital teleconverter to further magnify the image with different focal lengths.

  1. Use the digital tele-converter selector to select the zoom angle.

    Pressing the digital tele-converter selector left or right zooms in or out on the center of the display.

    * The values in parentheses are 35mm format equivalent. OFF corresponds to 28mm.

    Selecting SEMI-TRANSPARENT or LINE for SURROUND VIEW allows you to check the angle of view without zooming in (aChanging the Display of the Cropping Indicators ).

  2. Take pictures at the selected zoom angle.

Image size may be changed when the digital teleconverter is used.

RAW pictures cannot be magnified. To save magnified copies, apply digital development to the images after selecting ON for RAW CONVERSION > DIGITAL TELE-CONV. in the playback menu.

The digital teleconverter may be unavailable in some modes (aDIGITAL TELE-CONV.).
