Product Care

To ensure continued enjoyment of the product, observe the following precautions.

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body and accessories after each use. Do not use alcohol, thinner, benzene, insecticide or other volatile chemicals, which could discolor (particularly leather on the camera body and accessories), deteriorate, or deform the product, or strip the paint.
  • Any liquid on the camera or accessories should be removed immediately with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Use a blower brush or similar tool to remove dust from the monitor and then gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Any remaining stains can be gently removed with a small amount of lens-cleaning fluid on a piece of Fujifilm lens-cleaning paper.
  • The monitor surface is delicate and prone to scratches; use with caution around hard objects.
  • Replace the lens cap before putting the camera away.
  • Use a blower to remove dust and lint from the glass surfaces of the lens or protective filter. To remove smudges and fingerprints, apply a small amount of lens cleaner to a soft, clean cotton cloth or lens-cleaning tissue and clean from the center outwards using a circular motion.
  • When not in use, keep the protective filter in the supplied case and store it away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humidity.
