Product Care

To ensure continued enjoyment of the product, observe the following precautions.

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body and accessories after each use. Do not use alcohol, thinner, benzene, insecticide or other volatile chemicals, which could discolor, deteriorate, or deform the product, or strip the paint.
  • Any liquid on the camera or accessories should be removed immediately with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Use a blower brush or similar tool to remove dust from the LCD monitor surface and other areas and then gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Any remaining stains can be gently removed with a small amount of lens-cleaning fluid on a piece of Fujifilm lens-cleaning paper.
  • The LCD monitor surface and other areas are delicate and prone to scratches, so do not rub them with a hard object.
  • Use [MAINTENANCE] > [SENSOR CLEANING] in [SET UP] to clean the sensor.
  • To prevent dust entering the camera, replace the body cap when no lens is in place.
  • Use a blower to remove dust and lint from the glass surfaces of the lens. To remove smudges and fingerprints, apply a small amount of lens cleaner to a soft, clean cotton cloth or lens-cleaning tissue and clean from the center outwards using a circular motion.
