Function Button Defaults

The default assignments are:

Assigning Roles to the Function Buttons

The roles played by the function buttons can be selected using the [USER] > [Fn SETTING] options. The roles to be assigned are as follows:

AF Lock Using Function Buttons

Use the function button to lock focus (AF lock) or adjust the focus during autofocus shooting.

• Press the function button to which [AF LOCK SWITCH] is assigned to lock the focus. Press the button again to release the focus lock.
• Press the function button to which [PRESS] is assigned to lock the focus while the button is pressed. Release the button to release the focus lock.
• Press the function button to which [AF-ON] is assigned to adjust the focus again.
