White Balance
The white balance for movie can be set using either auto white balance, custom white balance, or preset white balance.
Auto White Balance
The camera automatically adjusts the white balance according to scene changes.

Press [HOME] in shooting mode.
The [HOME] options will be displayed on the side monitors.

Press [WB] (Screen button 6).
The white balance settings will be displayed.

Press [AWB SET] (Screen button 3).
The auto white balance settings will be displayed.

Rotate the selector dial to highlight a setting and press the center of the selector dial.
The Type of Auto White Balance
The available auto white balance settings are as follows:

| [WHITE PRIORITY] | Choose for whiter whites in scenes lit by incandescent bulbs. |
| [AUTO] | Standard auto white balance. |
| [AMBIENCE PRIORITY] | Choose for warmer whites in scenes lit by incandescent bulbs. |
Custom White Balance
When you shoot a subject that serves as a reference for white balance, such as white paper, the camera automatically sets the white balance.

Press [HOME] in shooting mode.
The [HOME] options will be displayed on the side monitors.

Press [WB] (Screen button 6).
The white balance settings will be displayed.

Press [CWB SET] (Screen button 1).
The custom white balance settings will be displayed.

Display a subject, such as white paper, on the screen.
You can also change the size and position of the area for obtaining a custom white balance.

Press the [REC] button.
- [COMPLETE] will be displayed when the white balance is set correctly.
- If [OVER] is displayed, lower exposure compensation.
- If [UNDER] is displayed, raise exposure compensation.
Preset White Balance
Select a preset color temperature and manually set the white balance.
Adding or Editing Preset White Balance Settings
Add new preset white balance settings or edit existing ones.

Press [HOME] in shooting mode.
The [HOME] options will be displayed on the side monitors.

Press [WB] (Screen button 6).
The white balance settings will be displayed.

Press [WB ADD] (Screen button 6).
The color temperature settings will be displayed.
Press [WB EDIT] (Screen button 5) to edit existing preset white balance settings.

Rotate the selector dial to select color temperature.
- Press the center of the selector dial to move to the next digit. Press the [BACK] button to return to the previous digit.
- Press [K/CC] (Screen button 5) to set CC.

Press [DONE] (Screen button 6).
Deleting Preset White Balance Settings
Delete existing preset white balance settings.

Press [HOME] in shooting mode.
The [HOME] options will be displayed on the side monitors.

Press [WB] (Screen button 6).
The white balance settings will be displayed.

Select the preset you want to delete, then press [WB DELETE] (Screen button 4).
A confirmation dialog for the deletion will be displayed.

Press two [DELETE] (Screen buttons 4 and 6) simultaneously.
The selected preset will be deleted.
