Connect external devices to the camera body connectors.

Output is only provided to the 12-pin connector for lens connection, SDI OUT connector, HDMI OUT connector, and DC OUT 12 V connector when the camera is powered by the AC power adapter or V-mount battery. No output is provided when the camera is powered by the supplied battery.

12-pin Connector for Lens Connection

Connect to a lens with a 12-pin lens connector to supply power to the lens servo.

SDI OUT Connector (BNC Type)

Output footage when [ON] is selected for [SDI/HDMI OUTPUT SETTING] > [SDI OUTPUT SETTING] in [MONITOR SETTING]. Use [SDI/HDMI OUTPUT SETTING] to configure the resolution and enable or disable the screen display and control signal.

HDMI OUT Connector (Type A)

Output footage when [ON] is selected for [SDI/HDMI OUTPUT SETTING] > [HDMI OUTPUT] in [MONITOR SETTING]. Use [SDI/HDMI OUTPUT SETTING] to configure the resolution and enable or disable the screen display and control signal.

TC IN/TC OUT Connector (BNC Type)

Input the time code synchronization signal from external devices or output the synchronization signal. Use [TIME CODE SETTING] > [TIME CODE CONNECTOR] to switch the settings.

LAN Connector

A connector for connecting a LAN cable (aConnecting via Wired LAN).

Genlock Connector (BNC Type)

Synchronize the phase of the footage with external devices when [ON] is selected for [RECORDING] > [GENLOCK].

DC OUT 12 V Connector

When the camera is turned on, it outputs 12 V DC power. The connector shape and connector pin layout are as shown in the figure.

The rated output is 12 V, 3 A. Output will stop if the rated output is exceeded.

Turn the camera off before connecting or disconnecting devices. Doing so while the power is on could cause the camera to stop functioning.

Do not short the pins with each other or with the camera exterior, or apply voltage to them. Failure to observe this precaution could damage the camera.

Connecting a device to the DC OUT 12 V connector will cause the V-mount battery to drain more quickly.

When using the DC OUT 12 V connector, we recommend that you use the AC power adapter or the V-mount battery with a rated output of 10 A or higher.
