Touch Screen Mode
The LCD monitor and the secondary LCD monitor function as a touch screen for operations such as configuring shooting settings and selecting playback images.
Touching the screen once with your finger is described as a “tap”, and sweeping your finger on the screen in either direction is described as a “swipe”.
- Use the LCD monitor to change shooting settings, select playback images, and select menus.
- Use the secondary LCD monitor to select a film simulation to be used, operate during playback, and set menus.

Shooting Touch Controls
Use touch operations during shooting to change shooting settings and switch displays.
Touch AF
When AREA is selected for AF MODE, tap the LCD monitor to focus on the selected area.
Changing Shooting Settings
Tap the shutter speed or ISO sensitivity on the LCD monitor to change the respective settings. Items that can be changed are marked with a frame.

The shutter speed can be changed when the shooting mode is set to S or M.
Switching Shooting Displays
Swipe up, down, left, or right on the LCD monitor in the shooting display to display the menu.
Swiping direction | Description | |

A | Up | Display a list of shooting settings. Tap a setting item to go to the respective setting menu (aDisplaying a List of Shooting Settings). |
B | Left | Display the shooting menu, setup menu, and network/USB setting menu (aMenu Touch Controls). |
C | Right | Display to switch the film simulation and filters. |
D | Down | Pair with Bluetooth devices and shoot in film camera mode (aConnecting to a Smartphone). |
Changing FILM SIMULATION/FILTER SETTINGS
Swipe right on the LCD monitor, select a film simulation or filter, and then swipe up or down on the secondary LCD monitor to change the film simulation or filter setting (aFilm Simulations and Filters).
When ACROS is selected for the film simulation, you can select a filter on the LCD monitor.
When PARTIAL COLOR is selected for a filter, you can set the color to be retained on the LCD monitor. When EXPIRED FILM is selected, you can set the faded color.
Film Camera Mode
During still photography, swipe down on the LCD monitor and then tap FILM CAMERA MODE to switch to the film camera mode, allowing you to enjoy a shooting experience similar to that using a film camera. You can take pictures each time you pull the frame advance lever.
The menu and playback cannot be displayed during the film camera mode. Take the preset number of pictures or double-tap (tap twice quickly) the secondary LCD monitor to exit the film camera mode.
Pictures taken in the film camera mode can be played back on the smartphone application.
Do not remove the memory card in the film camera mode. If you remove the memory card, you may not be able to resume the film camera mode.
Displaying a List of Shooting Settings
Swipe up on the LCD monitor in the shooting display to display a list of shooting settings. Tap a setting item to go to the respective setting menu. The items to be displayed vary for still photography and movie recording.

Playback Touch Controls
During playback, use touch operations to select pictures to be played back and to zoom in or zoom out the pictures.
Viewing Pictures or Movies
During viewing pictures or movies, swipe left or right on the LCD monitor to view the previous or next pictures or movies (aViewing and Deleting Pictures).
Swipe up or down on the LCD monitor to show or hide the indicators.
Tap the button on the secondary LCD monitor to display the playback menu, rotate pictures, or switch displays.

Zooming in and Zooming out Pictures
Place two fingers on the LCD monitor while a picture is displayed during the single-frame playback to zoom in or zoom out the picture.
Pinch-out (spread two fingers apart) on the LCD monitor while a picture is played back to zoom in the picture.
Pinch-in (slide two fingers together) to zoom out the picture.
The picture cannot be displayed smaller than the original view.
When a picture is zoomed in, drag (move your finger across the screen without lifting it) to change the position to be zoomed in.
Double-tap (tap twice quickly) the LCD monitor to zoom in the tapped area at a certain magnification or to return to 100%.
Menu Touch Controls
Select the setting you want to display on the secondary LCD monitor (A), and tap a setting item on the LCD monitor (B).
Tap the setting options on the LCD monitor to change the setting. Press the shutter button halfway to return to the shooting display. Tap v on the secondary LCD monitor to return to the previous display.
