Importing Camera Root Certificates to a Web Browser
Before connecting to the camera from a computer or tablet via HTTPS, you will need to copy the camera’s root certificate to the computer or tablet.
When using multiple cameras connected to file transmitters, you will need to install a separate root certificate for each camera.
The root certificate must be reinstalled whenever the IP address is changed, whether manually or via auto IP address allocation.
Windows

Launch the web browser on your computer and enter the camera IP address in the address bar.
To connect to a camera with an IP address of 192.168.0.11, for example, enter “[http://192.168.0.11]”.
The browser will display a root certificate download page.
- Enter your user name and password.

Click “[Download root certificate]”.
The root certificate will be downloaded to the computer.

Open the root certificate.
A dialog listing certificate information will be displayed.
- Click “[Install Certificate ]”.
- When the “[Certificate Import Wizard]” is displayed, select “[Local Machine]” and click “[Next]”.
- In the “[Certificate Store]” display, select “[Place all certificates in the following store]” and click “[Browse]”.
- In the “[Select Certificate Store]” dialog, select “[Trusted Root Certification Authorities]” and click “[OK]”.
- Click “[Next]” in the “[Certificate Store]” display.
- Click “[Finish]” when “[Completing the Certificate Import Wizard]” is displayed.
- If a security alert is displayed, click “[Yes]”.

Click “[OK]” when the message “[The import was successful]” is displayed.
This completes installation of the root certificate.
The root certificate can be deleted by going to “[Internet Properties]” > “[Content]” > “[Certificates]” > “[Trusted Root Certification Authorities]” and removing “[digitalcamera.fujifilm.com]”.
Mac

Launch the web browser on your computer and enter the camera IP address in the address bar.
To connect to a camera with an IP address of 192.168.0.11, for example, enter “[http://192.168.0.11]”.
The browser will display a root certificate download page.
- Enter your user name and password.

Click “[Download root certificate]”.
The root certificate will be downloaded to the computer.

Open the root certificate.
- When the “[Add Certificates]” dialog is displayed, select “[Login]” for “[Keychain]” and click “[Add]”.
- “[Keychain Access]” will be displayed.
- Select “[digitalcamera.fujifilm.com]” in the certificate list.
- Select “[Always Trust]” for “[Trust]” > “[Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)]”.
The root certificate can be removed by deleting “[digitalcamera.fujifilm.com]” in “[Keychain Access]”.
Android

Launch the web browser on your Android device and enter the camera IP address in the address bar.
To connect to a camera with an IP address of 192.168.0.11, for example, enter “[http://192.168.0.11]”.
The browser will display a root certificate download page.
- Enter your user name and password.

Tap “[Download root certificate]”.
The root certificate will be downloaded to your device.

Launch the “[Settings]” app and navigate to the location below.
- Android 12 or 11: “[Security]” > “[Advanced settings]” > “[Encryption & credential]” > “[Install a certificate]” > “[CA certificate]”
- Android 10: “[Security]” > “[Encryption & credential]” > “[Install from storage]”
- Tap “[Install]”.

Select the root certificate in the file list.
This completes installation of the root certificate.
The root certificate can be removed by launching the “[Settings]” app and deleting or uninstalling “[digitalcamera.fujifilm.com]” from the following location:
- Android12: “[Security]” > “[Advanced settings]” > “[Encryption & credential]” > “[User credentials]”
- Android11: “[Security]” > “[Advanced settings]” > “[Encryption & credential]” > “[Trusted credentials]”
- Android10: “[Security]” > “[Encryption & credential]” > “[Trusted credentials]”
iOS/iPad OS

Launch the web browser on your Android device and enter the camera IP address in the address bar.
To connect to a camera with an IP address of 192.168.0.11, for example, enter “[http://192.168.0.11]”.
The browser will display a root certificate download page.
- Enter your user name and password.

Tap “[Download root certificate]”.
The root certificate will be downloaded to your device.
If a message is displayed, tap “[Allow]”.
- Select “[Settings]” > “[Downloaded Profile]”.

Tap “[Install]”.
If a warning is displayed, tap “[Install]” again.
- Tap “[Done]”.
- Select “[Settings]” > “[General]” > “[About]” > “[Certificate Trust Settings]”.

Enable full trust for “[digitalcamera.fujifilm.com]”.
This completes installation of the root certificate.
The root certificate can be removed by deleting “[digitalcamera.fujifilm.com]” from the following location:
- iOS 15: “[Settings]” > “[Genera]l” > “[VPN & Device Management]”
- iOS 13 or 14: “[Settings]” > “[General]” > “[Profile]”
