.Autofocus
Rotate the focus mode selector to [AF] to record using autofocus.
[AF MODE]
Use [FOCUS] > [AF MODE] to choose how the camera focuses. Use the focus stick (focus lever) on the handle to select the position of the focus area and the subject.
[MULTI]
The camera selects the focus area automatically.
[TRACKING]
Press the focus stick (focus lever) to the center to automatically track focus on the subject in the focus area. Press the button again to stop tracking.
[AREA]
The camera focuses on the subject in the selected focus area.
You can also tap the LCD monitor to change the focus area position or the subject to focus.
If you are using a lens that allows focus method settings on the lens side, set the lens’s focus mode switch to [S] beforehand.
[FOCUS AREA]
Use [FOCUS] > [FOCUS AREA] to set the position to focus on for [TRACKING] or [AREA]. You can also press the [BACK] button to return the focus area to the center.
You can also tap the LCD monitor to change the focus area position.
