V-mount Batteries
Using an optional V-mount battery allows you to supply power to the camera instead of using an AC power adapter, or charge the supplied battery.
Recording while charging the supplied battery with a V-mount battery will cause the V-mount battery to drain more quickly.
Compatible V-mount Batteries
This camera can use V-mount batteries with the following specifications:
Input voltage range: 11.0 to 17.0 V
Depending on the dimensions of the V-mount battery, it may interfere with cables attached to the camera. Make sure there is no interference before using it.
When using the DC OUT 12 V connector, we recommend that you use the V-mount battery with a rated output of 10 A or higher or the AC power adapter.
Attaching the V-mount Battery
Insert the V-mount battery into the V-mount battery attachment mount from above. Slide it down until the V-mount battery release button appears.
Removing the V-mount Battery
Slide the V-mount battery upward while pressing the V-mount battery release button to remove it.
If the AC power adapter or V-mount battery is removed while the camera is powered on and the supplied battery is in the camera, the screen display and terminal output will be turned off, and no operation other than turning off the camera can be performed. Attaching the AC power adapter or V-mount battery again will restore normal operation. If the AC power adapter or V-mount battery is removed during movie recording, the recording will stop immediately.
If the supplied battery is low or the camera is used in a low-temperature environment, removing the V-mount battery could cause the camera to stop functioning, even if the supplied battery is in the camera.
